The Prints
These images are created through a combination of analog and digital techniques.
First, a series of individual photographs are exposed around a complete 360° circle. This analog film is then digitized at high resolution on a state-of-the-art drum scanner.
The scans are then warped, stitched, cropped, retouched, and color-corrected to create the seamless 360° images. These files are then printed on Epson printers with a six-color archival ink set.
This process is approximately three times more permanent than traditional photographic prints (see independent research at Wilhelm Imaging Research Inc.).
